Rope guide structure of electric cable hoist for sale
Rope guide consists of rope-guide nut, rope-guide plate, connecting steel strip. Five pieces of rope-guide nuts are connected into one by rope-guide plate and connecting steel strip. The rope runs through the long slot of rope-guide plate. The rope-guide nut mashes with rope slot of drum. The drum rotates, which drives the horizontal movement of rope-guide nut, so that rope in the slot is in order. Rope-guide plate moves towards the ends of drum, when it reaches the limited position, it can drive the limit rod of drum cover to move together, so that it touches the limit switch of main motor and plays the role of limiting position. Rope guide is vulnerable part of electrical hoist. If not using properly, it is easy to damage.
How to resolve electrical hoist failure?
Cable electrical hoist is widely and frequently used in many industry fields, so it is important to deal with all kinds of failures in the operation timely and accurately. The followings are some common failures and the effective ways to solve them.
Failure one and solution
After starting the item, the motor doesn’t work and can’t lift the material. First reason is overload. Lifting hoist can’t be used with overload. Second, the voltage is 10% lower than rated voltage, so just wait until the voltage returns to normal. Third, there is trouble with electric appliance, such as cable disconnection or poor connect, so please check electric appliance and cable. Fourth, there is corrosion that prevents the brake wheel rotating, so remove brake wheel and clear the corrosion. Fifth, the cable is too thin, just change thick cable.
Failure two and solution
The brake is not reliable, glide distance is more than the regulated standard. First reason is that serious wear of brake ring leads to the reduced pressure of spring, so adjust the pressure of spring. Second, break ring connects badly with end cone cover, so remove them and repair. Third, there is oil pollution on the surface of brake ring, so remove brake ring and clear it. Fourth, the brake ring is loose, just change one new. Fifth, pressure spring is fatigued, just change spring. Sixth, coupling is not flexible, please check the connecting part. Seventh, movement of taper rotor is too powerful, please adjust it according to standards.
Failure three and solution
The motor is overheating. First reason is overload, so reduce the load. Second, the motor is used too frequently, please reduce using times. Third, the gap of brake is too narrow, the brake ring can’t fully release in rotation, please make an adjustment.
Kinds of rope cores of wire rope hoist
There is rope core in wire rope, because it can increase the properties of rolling, elasticity and lubrication, so as to reduce the frictional resistance with pulley and drum. There are four common- use rope core: organic core, fiber core, asbestos core, metal core.
Organic core is made of cotton. The cotton is twisted into rope or stock first. Organic core wire rope is flexible. When the wire rope is pressed in work, the oil stored in the rope core will ooze out and lubricate the wire rope. But this type wire rope has bad heat-resistance and fire-resistance, it is not adjustable to high temperature condition and can’t sustain high pressure.
Fiber core is made of natural fiber or synthetic fiber. This kind of wire rope can’t adapt to hot environment or heavy stress.
Asbestos core is made of asbestos. It has similar properties with organic core and fiber core. The difference is that asbestos core can adapt to metallurgic and hot environment, but it can’t sustain high press.
Metal core is made of soft steel. This kind of wire rope can resist high temperature and high pressure, it can adapt to complex working conditions well. But its price is higher.
